Is your current accounting setup working against you?

Four questions. Under 90 seconds. Find out where the gaps are.

How do you currently manage your business financial records?

How confident are you that your VAT records are MTD-compliant right now?

When did you last have a clear, accurate view of your business cash position?

How much time do you spend each week on bookkeeping and financial admin?

YOUR RESULT

Your current setup is costing you time and creating real compliance risk

Based on your answers, your financial records are likely out of date and your business is exposed to MTD penalties from HMRC. Moving to a cloud accounting service does not have to be complicated. I set up Xero, migrate your existing records, and handle everything going forward so you are not left to figure it out alone.

YOUR RESULT

You have some foundations in place, but gaps remain that could become problems

You are using some form of digital record-keeping, but there are likely inconsistencies that will cause issues at VAT or year-end. Getting onto a properly managed cloud accounting setup now means those gaps get closed before they cost you money or time with HMRC.

YOUR RESULT

You have a working system, but you may be paying more than necessary to maintain it

Your accounting foundations are solid. If you are currently managing this yourself or using a service that lacks a direct point of contact, it is worth comparing what you have against fixed-price Xero bookkeeping with someone you can actually speak to.

WHAT I DO

Services included in cloud accounting with Acme

Everything is handled directly by me, in Xero, with no handoffs and no hidden extras.

01

Xero Setup and Cloud Migration

I set up your Xero account from scratch or migrate your existing records across, so you are not left staring at software you do not understand. Once set up, your books are live, accurate, and accessible from any device at any time.

02

Monthly Bookkeeping and VAT Returns

I categorise your income and expenses each month inside Xero, so your figures are always current and your VAT returns are ready to file on time. This means you always know your VAT position well before the deadline, without doing any of the work yourself.

MTD Compliant
03

Payroll and CIS Returns

If you run payroll or operate under the Construction Industry Scheme, I handle your submissions directly to HMRC on the correct dates. You get accurate records maintained in Xero alongside your bookkeeping, with nothing to cross-reference manually.

WHY IT WORKS

Why working with a dedicated bookkeeper works better than software alone

Cloud accounting software is only useful if someone accurate is managing it.

You deal with me directly, every time

There is no account manager, no support queue, and no different face each time you have a question. You get my direct number and my personal attention on your books, which means problems get spotted and sorted without delay.

Fixed monthly pricing with nothing hidden

Pricing starts from £25 per month and is agreed upfront, so there are no surprise invoices after a busy VAT quarter. You know exactly what you pay and exactly what is covered before you commit to anything.

MTD compliance handled without you needing to think about it

From 6 April 2026, Making Tax Digital for Income Tax applies to sole traders and landlords above the income threshold, requiring compatible software and quarterly digital submissions to HMRC. I handle all of that inside Xero on your behalf, so you stay compliant without needing to understand the technical requirements yourself.

FROM CLIENTS I WORK WITH

What clients say

GETTING STARTED

How we get started

Four steps from first call to fully managed cloud accounting.

01

Free introductory call

We talk through your current setup, what is causing you the most friction, and what you actually need. There is no obligation and no sales pressure. You get a straight answer on whether I can help and what it would cost.

02

Xero setup or migration

I set up your Xero account and bring in your existing financial records so nothing is lost in the move. You do not need to be technical. I walk you through what you need to know and handle the rest.

03

Your first month of bookkeeping

I categorise your transactions, reconcile your bank, and make sure your figures are accurate and current. If there are gaps or issues from previous records, I flag them clearly so you know exactly where things stand.

04

Ongoing monthly management

From that point, I handle your bookkeeping, VAT returns, payroll, and any other services we have agreed each month. You have direct access to me when you have a question, and your Xero account stays up to date throughout.

COMMON QUESTIONS

Common questions about cloud accounting

No. I manage Xero on your behalf, which means you do not need to understand double-entry bookkeeping or accounting terminology. You can log in and see your figures in plain language at any time, but the categorising, reconciling, and filing is handled by me.
I migrate your existing records into Xero as part of the setup process. Whether you have spreadsheets, a desktop accounting file, or a pile of bank statements, I bring everything across cleanly so you have a complete and accurate picture from day one.
Xero runs on enterprise-grade infrastructure with AES-256 encryption for data at rest and in transit, and two-factor authentication as standard. The main security risk with any cloud software is human error, which is why having a dedicated bookkeeper managing your account rather than leaving it to staff to update ad hoc makes a practical difference.
Making Tax Digital, or MTD, is HMRC’s requirement for businesses to keep digital records and submit returns using compatible software. From 6 April 2026, sole traders and landlords with qualifying income must use MTD-compatible software for Income Tax. Xero is fully compatible, and I handle all quarterly submissions to HMRC on your behalf so you are not at risk of penalties for late or non-compliant filing.
